Araxes Press serves the esoteric community by publishing high-quality limited, deluxe and artisanal editions of new and old occult classics. We work with authors of the highest caliber from all over the world, and are proud to amplify their signal. To this end, we look to share a diverse selection of works that provides fascinating insights into the worlds of paganism, witchcraft, ceremonial magic, esotericism, and non-mainstream spirituality. Our goal is to delight and intrigue our readers with valuable content, beautiful designs, and exquisitely-bound volumes which will last for generations. To accomplish this goal, we work closely with one of the finest bookbinders in North America, carefully planning each volume in order to create literary works of art that are elegant, iconic, and durable. No shortcuts are taken. As a result, we create editions that will proudly be displayed on our readers’ shelves and withstand the test of time.

Besides presenting new works, Araxes is determined to republish select esoteric classics that have gone out of print. Some books provide unique insights into magical, spiritual and folkloric traditions, and yet their rarity makes them virtually impossible to obtain. We are eager to fill this gap by making available again such classics as Frater Chassan’s ceremonial magic classic Gateways through Stone and Circle and Peter Jenx’s seminal exploration of Buddhist folk magic The Thai Occult.

Araxes Press is the result of a collaboration between Larry Roberts of Miskatonic Books and author Jack Grayle, both of whom have a lifelong love of books and the worlds of magic and wonder that they reveal to readers all over the world.
