While Altar focused on Hecate, Grail focused on the Witch, this is the book about the demons. Belial, Lucifer, Qayin, all names frequently brought up in this conclusion to this trilogy. This magic gets dark with the offerings, invocations, sinister seals, sex magick, and while it has an effective introduction, it almost immediately after gets to the workings. However, while the previous two entries certainly needed the original Primal Craft trilogy, a magician who has read other Draconian texts from other occult authors would likely be able to pick up this text most likely. If I had to pick just one of the Sacrifice trilogy to recommend, it would be this one. But if you can, this a trilogy worth starting and certainly, more than worth ending on this note.
The book arrived faster than I expected. I also did not expect such a hefty volume. This tome is heavy, both with pages and with knowledge. Reading through this book is the equivalent of studying for hours, with just the sheer amount of information that you are presented with. Some of it sticks right away, some does not, but as you read, that which did not make sense at first suddenly comes full circle and make perfect sense. Matters you never thought you could understand, Mark breaks them down so that you can grasp what he is speaking of. Very thought-provoking and informative.
