Due to the number of lost packages sent domestic media mail this year, Miskatonic Books will no longer offer media mail rate options during checkout. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause some, but we strongly feel, due to the issues we’re having, that this change will better ensure our customers are receiving their products and getting them delivered in a more timely manner.

To help offset the cost of this change, we’ve implemented a completely free shipping option for US customers that will run for orders of $195 or more. Once you have added $195 to your cart, you can select the free shipping option at checkout (see below):

IMPORTANT: When returning customers check out, your cart will default to the last shipping option chosen (which might be charging you for Ground or Priority Mail). This is because you have to manually select free shipping on the cart or checkout pages. ALL US orders of $195 or more should have this free shipping option appear. Simply select and receive free shipping with your order.

All free shipping orders will ship Ground Advantage at our expense and we will also waive insurance fees added to orders of more than $250. If you prefer faster shipping, you may select another option other than free shipping, such as Priority Mail, at regular shipping costs.
